Do We Ever Stop Learning About Horses?

Every time we ride or spend time with our horse, we are learning something about them. They are learning too.

They learn about the way we communicate, what our aids mean and what we are asking. We notice their responses, what they understand, what they enjoy and the questions they give us.

Learning happens in lessons, while we ride, when we watch, read and listen, and in the conversations that continue afterwards.

There is always more to learn.

Keep learning between rides

The Equestrian Heroes Online Equestrian Centre is a place to keep learning between rides.

Come in and take a look around. Visit Dressage School Online, spend five minutes in the Library, join other riders in the Rider Lounge, or see what makes you curious.

You might find an exercise and think I want to try that, hear something that changes the way you think about a familiar subject, or simply enjoy learning more about horses.

Then go and spend time with your horse.
