Behind the Scenes: How I Built My First Escape Room for Creators Using Kajabi
When most people think about Escape Rooms, they picture padlocks, puzzles, and secret codes. But I saw an opportunity for something more.

So I built a full Escape Room experience using Kajabi.
Not as a gimmick—but as a playful, purposeful funnel to help coaches and creators find their spark.
🎯 1. Strategy Doesn’t Have to Feel Serious
We talk a lot about lead magnets, engagement, nurture flows... but what if we made them fun?
The Escape Room was designed as a game—yes—but it also had built-in segmentation, email triggers, and a natural path to deeper offers. It wasn’t just creative; it was calculated.
Inside the experience, creators could explore, reflect, and make their way through personalised choices… all while I learned more about their interests and goals in the background.
🧠 2. Kajabi Made the Build Seamless
I didn’t use any custom code or outside platforms. Kajabi handled it all—landing pages, automations, email flows, and product previews.
Even the visual quiz tool, The Quiz Creator that powered navigation and results was easy to embed and connect.
What looked magical from the outside was entirely manageable on the backend. That’s the beauty of building with Kajabi—it supports creativity without sacrificing practicality.
🎨 3. It Aligned Perfectly With My Brand Values

Everything I build—especially for Creator Day—is rooted in those three values.
This Escape Room wasn’t just a clever format. It became a celebration of what’s possible when you let your platform support your imagination. It reminded me (and others) that strategy doesn’t have to feel dry or daunting. It can spark something powerful.
