When Heroes Riding Club Opened Its Doors

A note from 2026: I originally published this article on 24 September 2023 when Heroes Riding Club opened its doors. The club has evolved since then, and some of the programmes and spaces mentioned in the original article have changed too. I’ve kept the date because this was the beginning of the club, and updated the page to show you where it has travelled since.

When Heroes Riding Club opened, riders had access to the Rider Library and The Lounge, with challenges, articles and resources to dip into. Ready Set Go was one of the first programmes, created to help riders organise three linked schooling sessions.

The idea was to create somewhere riders could come between rides to read, learn, talk about their horses and find something useful for the next time they rode.

Heroes Riding Club Today

Heroes Riding Club has changed since that first version, while the idea of creating a welcoming place for riders has continued. The resources and programmes have developed too, including the programme that began as Ready Set Go.

If you're discovering Heroes Riding Club for the first time, you can see what is happening there now and join us.

Equestrian Heroes Club

The Riding Club gives you a place to think about your last ride and your next one, explore ideas, spend time with other riders, and discover conversations that might make a difference the next time you ride. Membership is free, and you're welcome to join us.
