Your First 7 Days in the Equestrian Heroes App
Jun 07, 2025
Free guidance, thoughtful resources, and a horse-first community where your journey matters.
Every rider’s journey is different but your time and energy matter.
This 7-day guide will help you find your way around the Equestrian Heroes App and discover the different spaces inside the centre, at your own pace.
Whether you’ve just joined or are still deciding if it’s right for you, here’s what your first week could look like inside the app.
Day 1: Download the App + Settle In
When you first open the app, you’ll see a welcome screen inviting you to join the free Heroes Riding Club.
Tap that and you'll unlock the centre - including the Lounge, the Library, and a collection of rider guidance and resources you can return to whenever you need them.
There’s also a short onboarding sequence to show you around so take a moment to swipe through.
🏇 Tip: If prompted, make sure to opt into push notifications so I can send you rider rewards, new resources, and seasonal challenges as they go live.
Once you land on the Home Screen, you’ll see a few friendly ways to navigate—along with a Start Here screen that gently explains what’s inside and where you might like to begin.
The three main areas to explore are:
-
The Lounge – our community space for connection and conversation
-
The Library – free coaching tools and inspiration
-
Rider Resources & Guides – practical downloads to support your schooling sessions
No pressure. Just tap around and follow what interests you.
Day 2: Choose Your Next Challenge
If you're unsure where to start, you're not alone.
That’s why I created a short quiz to help you discover your rider style and point you toward the most helpful resources for where you are right now.
It’s quick, reflective, and designed to support—not judge.

Day 3: Celebrate Your Horse
Inside the Lounge, you’ll find a space called Celebrate Your Horse.
Upload a photo, tell us what makes your horse special, and I’ll add them to our virtual Wall of Fame in the Clubroom.
It’s one of my favourite parts of the app a space where we recognise the partnership at the heart of everything.
Day 4: Explore the Library
Now’s a lovely time to open the Library and see what draws your attention.
Inside, you’ll find a collection of short, thoughtful resources designed to support you between rides. Rather than following a set path, you can explore based on what you need in the moment.
You might find yourself:
• reconnecting with your feel
• finding focus before your next ride
• reflecting on something that didn’t quite make sense
• or simply enjoying a quiet moment with your horse in mind
The Library is designed to move with you. There’s no right place to start, just follow your curiosity and see where it leads.
Day 5: Share Something in the Lounge
Feeling a little more at home?
You might like to say hello in the Lounge. You could post a photo, share what you’re looking forward to with your horse this week, or respond to one of the Tea Break prompts we’ve added to help riders ease in.
No pressure to post, reading and reacting is just as welcome.
Day 6: Discover What’s Next
By now, you may have noticed there are a couple of rider pathways inside the centre.
These are here when you feel ready for something a little more structured, or when you’d like to go a little deeper with your riding.
• Achieve Dressage supports your progression through the levels, helping you track your development and recognise how far you’ve come
• Equi-Impulse is a space to reconnect with your feel, your timing, and your intuition in the saddle — those moments when something clicks and your riding begins to make sense
Both are designed to support you in your own way, at your own pace.
Day 7: Keep Coming Back When You Need It
This isn't an app that demands your attention every day.
It's a place you can return to between rides, for a reset, a resource, or a reminder of why you love to ride.
Every time you log in, you’ll find something new, whether it’s a seasonal challenge, a fresh guide, or a post that makes you feel seen.
Not in the App Yet?
You’re warmly invited.
