Equestrian Business Ridesum In The Spotlight

I discovered Ridesum in 2020 and immediately fell in love with the easy set up and clarity of the audio visual experience which made it possible for me to offer Digital Coaching. My Riders and I worked through the set up together and soon found that there was a way to work around most challenges. Low data plan on your phone? No problem, for a very cost effective data boost my Riders were using a mobile PAYG broadband router that did not eat as much data as we feared. Most of my Riders persuaded a helper to be the camera person on the second phone that dialled into the session and it proved to be quite a social and educational experience for them. An unexpected bonus was that the camera person was now sharing a new perspective in that they could hear me and connect with my Coach observations, insights and suggestions in real time. The Riders too reported that it was as though I were sharing the arena space with them. 
It is possible for Riders without an helper to connect to me with one phone and a Bluetooth headset. Ridesum has brilliant step by step guides for connecting Riders and Coaches.  Their Support team are so friendly and responsive recognising that it’s helpful to train without keeping horses and the volunteer camera person hanging around. There is of course the option to connect with a Robot Camera and I’ve found the Pixio / Pixem system easy to use. 
The Ridesum booking system is a joy with Coaches setting their available times and dates. These are simple to adjust too which is an added bonus for Coaches who invariably need to adapt their timetables. A Rider will request a session and the Coach can choose to accept or decline with the option to offer an alternative time or date. This process has the option to send messages too. Once Rider and Coach are set up on the system then payments are simple too. The Ridesum booking system is not limited to individual digital sessions either as the system can be set to recognise traditional face to face private lessons and clinics too. Coaches can offer written feedback at the end of sessions which is very useful for agreeing future learning.
There are Premium options for both Riders and Coaches. Riders using the Premium membership are able to record their sessions. The Coach Premium Membership unlocks the incredible Pocket Office which I have found to be an administration and organisation game changer… Some of my favourite Pocket Office Features are the ability to track business performance, to receive payments in the App and to generate and send invoices. This feature is professional and feedback suggests that Riders appreciate the user experience of seamless business transactions.
